  • — Bicycle manufacturers occasionally change component specifications without notice due to supply chain variables. We strive to keep product listings accurate, but minor specification variances may occur.
  • — All prices listed are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change without prior notice.
  • — If an ordered component or frameset becomes unavailable, we will contact you to offer a comparable alternative or process a full refund.

5. Pricing & Typographical Errors

We strive for absolute precision, but pricing or typographical errors may occasionally occur. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that item.

If your payment has already been processed for a cancelled order, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method immediately.

6. Pre-Orders Policy

Pre-order delivery dates for custom builds, complete bicycles, and imported components are estimated based on manufacturer timelines and customs clearance. These are subject to delays beyond our control.

Pre-orders are fulfilled strictly in chronological order. If we are unable to fulfill your pre-order due to insufficient manufacturer allocation, you will receive a full refund.

7. Orders & Payments

  • — Orders are confirmed only after a successful payment through our secure gateway.
  • — You are responsible for providing accurate billing and shipping information.
  • — We reserve the right to refuse orders if we suspect fraud, particularly on high-value bicycle purchases.

High-Value Transactions

For complete bicycle builds and high-end carbon wheelsets, our team may contact you via phone or email post-purchase to verify sizing details and shipping logistics before the order is finalized and dispatched.

9. Cancellations, Refunds & Exchanges

9.1 Order Cancellation

  • — Cancellations are only accepted before dispatch.
  • — Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled.

9.2 Refunds

  • — Processed to the original payment method.
  • — Please allow 5–7 business days for the funds to reflect in your account.

9.3 Exchanges for Transit Damage

Mandatory Unboxing Video

Due to the fragile and high-value nature of carbon components and bicycles, we require a clear, continuous video recording of the parcel being opened to process any damage claims. The video must show the unbroken seal before opening.

  • — You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery with proof of damage.
  • — We do not accept returns for change of mind or minor external box damage that does not affect the integrity of the product.

10. Use of Website

You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to compromise its security, or perform any action that disrupts its operation. Content scraping and automated bot purchases are strictly prohibited.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on checkered.in, including photography, copy, and branding, is the property of Checkered Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd. and is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or the installation/use of components purchased from us. Proper installation by a certified bicycle mechanic is always recommended.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh.
